1Q 1-Quote

Terms & Conditions

Last updated 29 July 2026.

These terms govern your use of 1-Quote ("1-Quote", "we", "us"), the website and the marketplace it operates. By submitting a quote request, contacting us, or registering as a contractor, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use 1-Quote.

What 1-Quote is

1-Quote is a lead marketplace. We connect homeowners who submit quote requests with independent trade contractors who choose to buy access to those requests. 1-Quote is not a party to any quote, contract or work arrangement made between a homeowner and a contractor, does not perform trade work itself, and does not guarantee the outcome, price, quality, licensing or insurance status of any contractor's work. Homeowners are responsible for satisfying themselves of a contractor's suitability before engaging them.

Homeowners

  • Requesting a quote through 1-Quote is free, with no obligation to accept any resulting quote or to engage any contractor.
  • You agree to provide accurate information about yourself and your job. We review requests before they are made available to contractors, and may decline to publish a request at our discretion — for example, if it appears spam, a duplicate, or outside the areas or trades we cover.
  • We do not guarantee that any contractor will contact you, or how many will.

Contractors

  • Contractor accounts are reviewed before they can access any lead, and we may decline, suspend or close an account at our discretion.
  • Contractors maintain a prepaid credit balance with 1-Quote, which is debited when a lead is purchased. Purchased leads are not refundable once accessed, except where a lead is materially inaccurate or was never genuinely submitted by a homeowner, at 1-Quote's discretion.
  • Arranging to top up credit, and any fees that apply, are agreed directly between the contractor and 1-Quote.
  • A contractor is solely responsible for the quotes it provides and any work it performs, including its own licensing, insurance and compliance obligations.

Acceptable use

You must not submit false or fraudulent quote requests, misuse contact details obtained through the platform for unrelated marketing, attempt to circumvent our review process, or otherwise use 1-Quote unlawfully or in a way that could harm the platform or its users.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1-Quote is not liable for any loss or damage arising from work performed, or not performed, by any contractor, or from any dispute between a homeowner and a contractor. Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of 1-Quote after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
